I'll be the first to admit, I can have some pretty oddball thoughts about what might make a fun idea for a story. Sometimes I even deliberately set out to craft an off-the-cuff concept for a story, as a bit of a self-imposed challenge to see if I can think up something unusual and actually make it work in some way.
